Hands on hatching and help

I Need Help. I accidentally cracked an Egg in the incubator, they only have a few days left before hatch. What should I do. I candled to see if it was still alive, there is still heavy Veining, and there was movement, No Leaks so it did not pop the membrane but what do I do to keep bacteria and Microorganisms out of the egg?!? I'm gonna put some petroleum jelly over the crack for now.

I've heard petroleum jelly during hatch to keep it soft. Before hatch I know you can use glue but I can't remember what kind..

Hey guys this is not hatch related but i was hoping someone could help since no one responded to my other post my order of chicks came in today from my pet chicken. One of the buff orphingtons i received has droopy wings for some reason. They are looking a little better now but they were hanging down to its legs. Its been eating and drinking and its become pretty active so maybe nothing to worry about... has anyone else seen this before?

Petroleum won't really do anything. I have done this once. I used clear tape.

Petroleum jelly will melt&could go into your eggs membrane. I think if you take a birthday candle and melt it slow&carefully letting wax seal over the hole you will have better outcome. Our if your teenager has braces use a hunk of dental wax the orthodontist gives(heat it in your fingers first&it can adhere as it cools)
Sorry ya dropped it,always crummy when that happens (if your sitting down with a towel in your lap its less likely to crack next time, candeling with little kids is always tricky because they are impatient&rush i"ve learned the hard way a time or two).

Could be what they call "angel wing" (or is that just ducks...?) I've never experienced it, but search for that, and see if its a possibility on yours.

Is there anything I can do for this little guy. The bubble looks like a yolk with blood vessels and is growing.
