Yep! Couldn't remember if those were AC eggs or not, so I decided to just toss them in because that was the only way to find out for sure. That's what I get for absentmindedly setting my eggs down after collecting them, lol.

Whats wrong with long pointy eggs? I have one in the bator now and its my first hatch. Its looking good on day 5, but when I read your post I thought....maybe I need too watch out for something come hatch?

Oh I'm sorry!! Nothing wrong with pointy eggs. I think its that old wives tail about pointy ones being males! lol
(I should say there have been studies and some people firmly believe it, I have no opinion on it really)

Remember the mystery eggs I 'had' to set with my sultans? One hatched just now and they are indeed AC eggs. Glad I set them, lol. I also have a pip on one of the sultan eggs and hope to have my first sultan in the morning.

I grabbed eggs out of the nest boxes one day, and normally I carry my pencil with me, but forgot it in the house. I had 2 eggs from each coop and thought I'd remember which ones I had in which hand. By the time I got back to the house, I had forgotten! So don't feel bad!

I set my eggs on Sat morning. Candled today which would start day 6. I have 4 out of 6 developing. 1 clear and 1 blood ring. The one with the blood ring I noticed lots of bubbles when I candled before setting. Opened it up this morning and it was scrambled. These were shipped eggs. I think 4 out of 6 eggs for my first hatch AND shipped eggs is better than I expected. Of course I still have 75% left to go, but I'm hopeful! Air cells look good from what I've seen posted.

I think it's mentioned in quite a few old threads. Probably spent days reading stuff on here before I subscribed. Really intresting.

Good thing you set them. I could see how easy it would be to miss an egg or two lol. I'm exhausted lol.. can't wait to see pics.

That is really good for shipped eggs. So far I've had some all fertile and others only 4 out of 12 were. Shipped eggs are most definitely a gamble.
My first time hearing that about the eggs as well.

Hey guys. My two assist are not growing much. They are very healthy and active but so small. If it weren't for the other silver one being normal size I would think they were bantams. Is this normal for chicks that need a little help. The other chick is already twice their size.

Starting to think ours are gonna be a more petite/bantum size also
