@rossfam06 congrats on getting eggs! Will you be setting more for yourself? Is the girl in your avatar one from my eggs?

Yes she is!!!!! The test batch is for me. So I plan to grow them out and see how well they turn out and cull from there. I finally have an open pen so I was able to move my extra boys I am trying to sell. No takers yet. Lol.

Awesome! What did you end up deciding to do with the cull pullet that hatched out of my eggs with the white toes/toenails? Mine I just toss into my egg laying flock. I've got a cockerel with leakage that I've got to either cull or find a new pet home for soon. If I do cull him I'll wait until he's a little older so there's more to him to eat, lol.

Awesome! What did you end up deciding to do with the cull pullet that hatched out of my eggs with the white toes/toenails? Mine I just toss into my egg laying flock. I've got a cockerel with leakage that I've got to either cull or find a new pet home for soon. If I do cull him I'll wait until he's a little older so there's more to him to eat, lol.

I gave most of mine away, lol... but this one is gonna be dinner soon...

It was a cockerel!!! I sold him for 25 bucks to a friend of mine. I ended up with 2 hens and a rooster from your eggs!

The 2 pure eggs were pullets the cream legbar egg was a cockerel. As of right now I only have those 2 hens as my breeders. I was only able to hatch 2 chicks when Bruce was broody one died and the other one is a cockerel. He is out back running around with my layers right now. So when I hatch some solid black toe chicks, I will be culling!

The one with all white toes, was the cockerel. I think Bruce had maybe one toe nail that was white and then crusty had none.
