Hands on hatching and help

2,4,5 are no good,

number 6 looks like he started then stopped.

ONe looks odd to me, you say he's moving?...

THREE LOOKS GREAT>>>>>

Seven hard to tell Pic is blurred,

Eight, looks good even though his air cell is not cooperating yet...

Number Two looks like he's got small hair line cracks. In fact they all seem to have open pores.

Hows it going now? I didn't see where anyone answered.
You mean the bottom toward the floor, or bottom as in pointy end.

If toward the floor, you can turn it, but if its clear of the floor, you don't really need to. Hopefully it progressed?
That one has hatched now but maybe too quickly as the duckling is now bleeding! What could this be?!

One of my ducklings just hatched and has got blood coming out of its bottom? Could it have not eaten a vessel?! Could it still survive?!

This is the one Katiebug named "Queenie" for Dancing Queen. If I end up with only one, I sure hope this is it.

GRRRR it won't play! I've had so much problem with you tube videos since we switched back to TWC (cable) it's not funny. No matter what browser I use it won't let me play certain videos.

It's butt or "navel"? If it's the navel hold a wet q-tip on it or put a little cornstarch on the spot. It probably just wasn't ready to break from the "cord".

The duckling cannot Stand up or move it's head either!!! It was born 8 hours ago but I don't want to put it in the brooder as the other ducks will climb all over it

I wouldn't put it in the brooder either. I'd wait for the duck people on the thread (which is not me,) to show up and hopefully they can help.

I set my eggs last night. The plan was to set them at midnight, but I ended up setting them at 10 because I remembered I have an LG and I can't set them and forget them and I wanted to sleep at some point...lol So I set them an monitored them for two hours and by midnight the temps were steady at 99.5-100.8ish. I was up every couple hours to check and they stayed steady until early this morning and one of my therms was reading 100 and 101 so I pulled the cover off the vents, (I covered them to bring the bator to temp after setting) and it's been holding at 99.5-100 steady again. Yay!! I have the shipped silkies in a cut down carton and the others on the side. I got my first turn with my eggs this morning. I am waiting to turn the silkies until tomorrow.

And I ended up leaving all 4 thermometers in there too!!! lol But they are all in sync so it's all good...lol
