Our first chick has arrived!!!! :weee

Depends on what your humidity is. The higher the humidity the slower to dry.  Mine dry better under my brooder lamp than in the bator because I run high humidity at hatch.

I'm running humidity between 65 to 75 percent. Should I put it 8n the brooder or leave it. I have 4 others that have externally pipped but I'm pretty sure they won't be hatching until tonight or even tomorrow...
Also will it hurt the others if I wish this one out really quickly?

What are you wishing? lol It's up to you. I pull mine as they hatch and become active. If you are comfortable doing so, do it. If not wait.

I have zero problems opening the bator during hatch.
