I've been sitting here reading, catching up on everything, trying to patiently wait for a lavender orpington to push its way out. It completely zipped, around a time and a half, but a few spots of membrane are still connected. It looks like it zipped and left a few gaps, although the shell is completely cracked all the way around. I have way too much going on in the bator to open it, so I'm trying to be patient and encourage it with my flashlight.
Lol definitely spring is in the air. I'll be happy when I finished with my last hatch and plan on taking a break while I work on my coop expansion lol. I'm going to need it lmao.![]()

He's so close!! Play some chick music and tap on the window with your fingernail. Trust me, I just did this with one of the calls. It took hours! I didn't have to much else going on so I finally opened and cracked it enough for him to get out, so I could go to bed. Lol.
That black duck is too cute. Congrats.

It finally made it on its own. He's huge lol. It was about 1/4 zipped when I got up at 5:00am, it got out at 7:45. Whew! And another sebright zipped in about 20 minutes and popped out 5 minutes behind the lavender.
2 more sebrights zipping right now. I had to call into work and tell them I'd be late![]()
