Hands on hatching and help

@Pyxis
The little one has start breaking more of the shell. I can see a little blood.it looms like it may be trying to zip? I'll take a picture and post it. I'm a little worried. I upped the humidity. Praying it waits a bit.. ugh..

I dont have a pic from when it first pipped. It was just a tiny start burst. I dont know how long its been pipped for since i woke up to it being this way. I candled them yesterday afternoon and 2 had drawdown....

Ok it just broke more of the shell. It looks like its zipping towards the bottom of the egg... what do I do? Leave it, help it? I need advice from someone more experienced.. I don't know what to do?

Let it try before you do anything. A lot of times, they make it just fine zipping the wrong end. Just make sure it still goes counter-clockwise and doesn't stall out!

Enjoy the show!

Thanks. Real quick how long should I let it zip for before I help. It's paused now. I know how long with a normal pipper but I'm in new territory and I'm afraid. I only have 5 eggs so I don't want to lose any... :(

Sometimes they do that, it's ok... as long as it keeps making progress and doesn't sound distressed, let it keep going... got another pic?

No unfortunately my battery is low so I can't use my flash. That's why the pics keep coming out so blurry.. :(

I'll leave it for awhile. One other is internally pipped and one is externally pipped. I thought I saw feet in the air cell of one but I'm not sure..

Whew I'm so ready for my hatching break lol. Looking forward to being done for the season so I can focus all my time on my chicks and flock. I haven't got to spend as much time with them and I miss it. It's so soothing.. :)
