Hands on hatching and help

Aaawwwww!!!! I have a couple of day olds that I could not remember when they were due....so I checked them 2 days ago....thinking that they needed to be locked town today....well last night I went to just check and 2 had hatched! So I checked the rest of the eggs but the last 2 were dis. So I took out the 2 little fluffies and they are now in their brooder!!!

We didn't even hear any peeps from the inubator.....but then again we have been glued to the Olympics all week!

Ugh I have almost 20 orpington eggs and only 2 are developing. I don't know what's been up with the postal service lately but they are starting to really make me mad!! Not one of my variety orpingtons are developing!! So bummed out..

How many days in? My lavenders seem to take longer to see veining. Maybe give them a few more days??

I'm a week in. I will for sure give them more time. I'm praying all the sudden they will start veining. Usually by now I see something though and 2 are covered in veins. these last couple packages from the post office were really damaged and 2 eggs were broken.

Yes, this batch seems to be exceptionally smart. Normally there's a few stragglers the first few days.

Unfortunately no those didn't develop either. I could tell today they we not going anywhere so I finally tossed them. Such a disappointment. On the flip side more of my ducks started quacking today. If I counting right I think 6 girls and 2 boys. It would be such a relief..

Sorry about the goose eggs too. I'm thinking I may have lucked out with my ducks and got a few more girls this time too. C'mon girls, quack it up!!

Hahaha right. A few of my girls are coming out with some amazing markings. I'm so happy they are not boys I have to get rid of lol.
