Honestly, i don't see any blood vessels, looks like it has quit, but you can leave it for a while to be certain. Day 11 you should see a nice spider-web of veins. Do you see anything on the other side of the egg?
I did, everything was great and when candled the chick was rock n rollin but when candled last night, i saw this. I have removed the egg and got more last night so starting over. Thank you for your help.I still agree too. The lack of veining is not a good sign.
Sorry it didn't make it. Best of luck on the new ones.I did, everything was great and when candled the chick was rock n rollin but when candled last night, i saw this. I have removed the egg and got more last night so starting over. Thank you for your help.

Yes you can candle. With no pips it is perfectly safe. Even with pips, as long as you keep your humidity up and aren't exposing them to long periods of dry air, the chance of compromising them are slim. I candle all the way through hatch cause I have a control problem and need to know what is going on and when they internally pip.Need some help here. This is my first time incubating and I'm freaking out a bit.
This is end of Day 21 (a few hours left). We set 7 Ameraucana eggs in a Brinsea Mini Advance. 1 was clear, 1 quit about day 7, the other 5 looked great up through Day 18.
Humidity Day 18-19 was only about 50% for some reason (despite filling both sides of reservoir.) When I realized this on Day 20 we got it up where it needed to be.
First egg pipped almost 24 hours ago, 2 chicks hatched in the night and have now been moved to the brooder.
The other 3...nothing. When should I worry/candle/etc.? No one has pipped so I could probably safely candle at this stage if needed, right?
