Please bare with me while I learn how to comment on here Lol
Today is the 21st day I had One hatched yesterday afternoon there was one that had pipped and this morning he was still trying but you could tell the membrane was getting dry and his feathers were starting to dry and he looked yucky. So I took him out and he had absorbed the yoke so I got him out of the shell everything came away easily . Then later when I checked him he was dry but his feathers were stuck to him like glue so I took him out again and put them in a warm bowl of water holding his head up of course, got the yucky's off him wrap them in paper towel for a few minutes and put them back in and he was the happiest little chick in the incubator !! But what I'm concerned about is because of opening The incubator I still am worried I've caused trouble . I have 10 that are hatched now but no more that have pipped and there's close to 35 eggs left. I am so worried... I can't believe that incubating can be so stressful . It's been 30 years since I've incubated anything and I really don't know why I'm so freaked out .LOL
