When I candle the eggs, how long should I keep them out while candling? Will they die if I leave them out too long?

A couple drops of Nutridrench straight on the tongue, then a couple drops plain water to wash it down...

Amoxicillin is a good start, check out Fish Mox in fish meds...

Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. I've done the things you suggested to help this little duckling, but I don't think he's going to make it. He ate the moistened feed this morning and I saw him poop. This gave me some hope. But throughout the day he started getting weaker. He won't eat at all, only drinks a little water every once in a while. He also seems to get cold easy and spends most of his time sleeping in the warmest part of the brooder. I feel terrible. I felt there was something wrong with him as soon as I saw him. I should have asked for help sooner. I should have separated him from his siblings as soon as I saw him being stepped on.

So sorry... we try our best, but some just don't make it... don't beat yourself up, it sounds like there was something wrong before he even hatched, nothing you could do about that... still going to keep for him and you!

Quick question sorry it's not about hatching. I put my girls feed and water in their coop with them at night but everyday their bedding is wet and smelly. Just now I cleaned them out and there was maggots I clean them out every other day it's costing me a fortune! Does anyone put their feed and water in with them? Or is it fine without?

They're fine without... I never keep food or water in any of my coops... once they're fully feathered juveniles they get same treatment, they won't starve overnight...

I'll do that then they don't really eat it and the drinker/feeder is taking up room.
They're all teenagers now so I need to stop treating them like babies
