Sometimes they don't pip thru the air cell('normal' 'internal' pip followed by an external pip), I call that a 'side pip'.
When that happens it can take twice as long for them to hatch because it's like an internal pip coupled with an external pip.
Humidity will soar when one hatches, nothing that needs to be messed with as it will come back down on it's own.
Yep...the 'chewing' mean they are absorbing the yolk.If tomorrow morning it’s still there I’ll think about what to do? Does that sound like a plan?
Getting stronger and stronger, standing up for short periods. It is smaller than the first one, don’t know if that’s been because of the saddle cell or because it’s a black French copper maran and the others are blue! I now have 3Sounds good..Congrats!
Could be...or some are just smaller. It is smaller than the first one, don’t know if that’s been because of the saddle cell
The new one is the same size and same situation with the walking. The one that hatched yesterday morning looks a monster now but she’s right up on her legs. It’s just amazing the difference a few hours can make but I know it will all balance out soon.Could be...or some are just smaller.
