Happy Duckween!​

On Halloween the first real cold front came through here in WV, it was raining cats'n dogs and winds were howling - the right conditions for the Duckies to turn our yard into a gigantic mudslide.

Happy Thanksgiving!​

The duckies had an early Thanksgiving: The Tomato and Pepper plants are dead after our first night of frost so i let the Duckies have them…

So sweet That was the scene at my house as well for Halloween. Bummer for the kids that were trick or treating, but my waterfowl had a blast! Has decided to turn cold here also, yaaay

That was like Thanksgiving feast for them!!! I could watch them all day!!

Trust me, you could not! - Even though the sun was shining, with the constant wind it was lousy cold here. The ducks demanded to go to bed at 7pm. They briefly tasted their supper-bowl, then turned around and ran (yes: ran) straight into their house. They never did that before.

Spoiled rotten by all this warm weather! I agree with them...we didn't have a very good transition period from hot to cold here, so now I step outside and 50s feels frigid!!

We had the same kind of weather here. The ducks did not want to go in the coop. Global warming caused our first freeze yesterday which is about 3 weeks early. Still trying to meet meet the neighbors but someone close by has ducks. Everyone out here has chickens but we were surprised to here quacking coming from the wrong direction
