If a male mated a female 1X, her eggs are fertile 2-4 weeks. With fertility dropping after 2 weeks. Advice I’ve been given is the freshly laid eggs are harder to tell if they are fertile. The longer it sits after being laid, the more pronounced the bullseye becomes. So take an egg you think is fertile, keep it about a week, then crack it open. Or if you feel more confident, you can crack it the same day it was laid and check. I’ll dig and find some of my pictures.
