My point exactly! If you read the opening statements he is not rescuing ROOSTERS only hens.

I was just thinking the logical thing for a rescue that only rescues hens to do would be to put a picture of a hen in the original post......

Please don't think I am making fun, I assure you I think this is a great idea!

Perhaps picture both hen and roo? Unless it is only for hens?

My first impression was "HAPPY HEN" [name of the rescue mission] and CHICKEN RESCUE [what is being rescued]....plain and simple....
Am I close roostersandhens???

I was thinking about people finding his rescue while they are finding that perfect place to rehome their rooster. They are going to think you take in roosters if they see a rooster pictured.

Imagine their disappointment!

I will just say, I hope to take roosters in the future, but currently I am just taking hens. So I would have said hen rescue, but since I may be taking roosters in the future, once I create a place to keep them, I will take in some roosters. But, (I may have said this on the 1st post) on my website, it says that if you have a rooster contact me anyways, and I may be able to take them. After I have the chicken rescue coop built, I will have 2 extra coops. Because I am currently keeping a rooster in each if those, so that is why you can still contact me about roosters!

I made it to Boxkit Barnyard today, and the coop is being built. It looks nice! The chickens will have some windows, which chickens always love to look out The guy building it said that he will be ready to put it up at my house in about 2 weeks. (hopefully sooner

Yes, I just said happy hen because it sounds good. I should be able to keep 2 - 3 roosters (other then my own) at a time. If all goes well. I have decided that I can use those extra coops after my roosters move into the new coop that is being built
