Finally I can add a pic of my girls! I just love tending my chickens, it's really relaxing.

Thank you, Chicken Girl 1! I love your flock, so colorful & healthy! Your roo, Robin Hood, would love my little SLW, Jett. She got out of the run when she was just a sprout. She made about 100 laps around the chicken house to get in, so we named her Jett. Mine can't free range due to aerial predators, so we're thinking of a tractor for next spring to let them out on the lawn next year. They have a 8' x 10' coop & the run is about 8' x 12'. Your free range girls look so happy.

Okay, its been awhile since I posted last. But here are some recent photos of the girls (we are down to a flock of 13

). My favorite hens to take pictures of would ne Badger my SLW, Sally my White Rock, and Daisy my other White Rock . These are the girls having fun in the leaves:
