My mom died 27 years ago when I was 11 so I'm kind of used to never having a mom on Mother's Day. Of course I imagine that my relationship with my mom would have been great and really close and I know that maybe it would be different but I think I'll just leave it at that.

She got me my first pet - a mouse - when I was 7 or 8 and of course only she knew how much a pet would mean to me(I was a total animal lover).
I wish she was here to help me garden or give me advice about family matters sometimes and share in the joy of raising my own children.

Yes Happy mothers day to all the moms, grandma's and greatgrandmothers out there and also to all the dads that have been a mom too. I lost my mom two yrs ago to complications from alzheimers. I know she is keeping watch over me. I miss you very much mom. Thanks for all your support.
