This is the only spot on her. I checked for mites and just treated the flock a month or so ago for mites and lice. They seem to be free from mites. We do have mosquitoes….Im in north Florida. I’ve got her soaking now and will keep her away from the other girls.Hi,
I'd keep her isolated for now until you/we figure out what that is.
Is she seeming to feel okay, eats and drinks fine? If so, I'd soak her for about 5 minutes in a warm Epsom salt bath, then get a closer look at it after you clean off what's loose. I'd put some triple antibiotic ointment on it.
Do you have active mosquitoes there?
Could that be a sore from pecking?
Have you checked her for mites?
Can you look her over well to see if there are any more of these on a smaller scale anywhere else on her?
Like the top of her leg under her wing. No - I don’t have a roo.Is it on her leg or her side? Do you have a roo?
It's either a cyst or tumor, in my mediocre opinion
