HARD, SWOLLEN EYES...WHAT IS IT?

Here is my newest problem. i have chickens getting one swollen eye. Not coryza, have had that and unfortunately know those symptoms all to well. With these chickens, one eye is getting swollen and VERY HARD in the corner of the eye. Almost as if you shoved a marble in there. Nothing comes out, I've tried to gently push on it. Hard as a rock. No other symptoms. Any ideas?

i have exactly the same problem with a hen, but both eyes are swollen now, her eye balls has been pushed down and swelling above. what is it hope we can find some help
