Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

No! It looks perfect from this image! That's the edge of the area opaca.
Ok, just double checking. :)

I couldn't resist doing a quick peek at #1, and I saw a little black dot. I'm guessing it's the eye? It seems rather early (Day 4) but maybe it's not? (It is a bantam egg)

Thanks. Guess I will return this one and get a new one. Should I calibrate it with ice bath then check it against boiling water? I am so scared to trim the fluffy butt and messing something up. I don't really have any help with them so no one that would be willing to hold or trim I don't think so it would be on me to hold AND trim at the same time and I am scared to do that. I swear I saw a bullseye in the egg that I cracked open the other day but it was on the light side but was there so I just don't know.
Dont be scared to trim it goes easier then trimming nails on a cat. 😆 I have 3 lovely 2+ yr old ladies who got trimmed for a case of mites, and the poor things havent molted! They've gone through 2 winters now with no fluffy britches on!

Stopped getting notifications for this thread again. Really annoying that glitch is.

I agree, butt trims are easy and sometimes necessary!

Well we're glad to have you back! BYC is probably just trying to give you a break. We all know how much I can talk. :lau

Thought I should add this here as well as on its own thread.
I did end up needing some kind of humidity pump. I just wasn't around and paying attention enough. Got down to 24% RH since setting on Sat. oops.

I had to adjust the drip count a few times but it is holding RH at 46% with a drip every 30-40 seconds.

I have candled a few and THEIR IS LIFE! :celebrate:yesss:
It does look like most of my NHs are clears though. Only one showing veining so far and am not 100% certain its from a NH. Cant remember if any of my other girls lid a similar egg or not. :hmm
