We are camping on June 8 for 4 days so would like to be able to observe them in the outside brooder before we camp so hopefully the timing works out good if I wait for a week then they aren't due to hatch till June 3.....

started collecting for round 3.. Got them on Sat and Sun. Today Ditzy went in the box around 12, out around 2 but I was working so got home and went out to collect eggs and she was back in the box. She let me pet her and didnt' puff up or make any sound but also didn't move I checked the camera and she went back in at 3:45 and is still on and it is 6pm.....

so is she going broody on me???? I wouldn't mind but I only have 2 eggs and maybe 1 more from today! was hoping to set 6 eggs. LOL and I think she has 1 from Marshmallow or Rosie under her too (can't tell who is who on the camera most times. LOL) Should I go reach under her and take the 2 eggs that she has or wait till tonight and see if she goes to roost or not? These eggs will be fine if I take them and store them after she has sat on them for a few hours right?

Yes, the eggs she was sitting on for a few hours will be fine. She may be going broody but sometimes it takes them a few days to commit.

Ya not giving her eggs right now. She would need to be good and broody for me to even try. She got off for about 15 min and went back but to a different box... Guess I see what she does.

Maybe just like Itzy she took it to heart when I said they needed to make babies. 🤣😂🤣
