Yes on the thermometer, but it was some time ago!

I had a 12 pack of those identical thermometers. I have about half left now I think? They definitely have a shelf life. 1 degree isn't going to hurt anything for lockdown but I would recalibrate to make sure for future hatches.

Should I then err on the side of caution and go back to the 99.5 reading on the NR 360? I know some people run a little cooler during lockdown though I’ve always just kept at the same temperature the whole time in my limited hatching experience.

I'm thinking on it and yes, I think I would do just that. Since you're looking at the final few days I would say that slightly low is better than it possibly being high. High temps can cause herniated navels. When you put the same thermometer in the Brinsea you've been using through the entire incubation, is it accurate? That's something else to check it with if you've been hatching successfully in the Brinsea.

Yes it does seem to be accurate in the Brinsea. I run it at 99.8. My last hatch though was in June.
