Thanks; we have a small generator but access to the incubator might be tricky; will definitely make it work though if I need to!I haven't personally, no. My friend uses a little generator for the Incubators out at her house in the boonies for when stuff happens that's the only thing I know about a secondary power source.

Yep, it has an inline transformer to convert 110V to 12V.I'm pretty sure I remember reading that the IncuView is compatible and can be used with a 12v battery and I've been curious about this ever since myself. Lol

I'm slightly disappointed, there is a small defect in the water reservoir. I haven't added water yet. It's heating up. Do you think this will affect the functionality and/or will water leak out?View attachment 2521622
