It does have some kind of little notch on the tip. I was only focused on finding a stainless steel screw so I don't know what type it is. It does seem to help though!

Erm... help? Got my NR360 yesterday. Which thermometer/humidity measurer do y’all recommend? Or is the incubator accurate enough that you don’t need one? Probably a silly question.

Not a silly question. Mine have all been great but it's always good to check. There can be lemons no matter what you get in life, it just happens, so it's always good to double check. I personally get a cheapo meat thermometer from Walmart that I calibrate and check against the digital thermometers (I also get cheap thermometers, lol). I'm drawing a blank on the name but there is a fancy thermometer that everyone seems to like.

Govee? That one held very steady for me, and has temp and humidity that can be calibrated. I took it out a couple times during incubation to check it, and it was always good. I used a meat thermometer to calibrate, too!

Hey, does anyone know why my secondary thermometer would read two degrees cooler than the incubator temperature since lockdown started? The lid is closed properly. The little cages I’m using aren’t touching the thermometer or the lid. Don’t know what to do.

How low is the temperature? Have you tried moving the thermometer to a different spot in the incubator?
