Been muggy here today at 28c (82f) :( Got a bit of breeze this aft not that it helped! :fl it should be cooler from tomorrow. Been a long time since we had this kind of prolonged weather!

Oh poopy poop! Charlie’s ferrets have escaped and one is lost :hit been up since 4.15am looking for it :hmm Scott as he does was up early & having a smoke at the front of the house when he saw what he thought was a rat over the road. But then realised it could be a ferret so checked on Charlie’s only to find they were not there! With that everyone was up looking. Thankfully I found Tonic in the garden as he came out from behind the log store when called but Gin was nowhere to been seen and it must have been her over the road :( Don’t know how they got out and Charlie is so upset she’s gone.

Oh how sad Kim! :hugs Loosing them gives you an awful feeling inside, very unsettling. I do hope you guys can find Gin! :hugs

:ya Gin is home safe & well! :clap After I posted here this morning I printed off & put flyers through all the neighbours doors. Thank god the lady in the next street read it and she spotted Gin! I made a mad run round the corner with cocktail sausages when she rang to say she had spotted her. The sausages worked well to coax her out from under the shed :drool Back home safe now with Tonic.
That little ferret has had a very lucky escape there!

Thanks Leyla :) It sure has lifted a cloud from the house!
Charlie was over the moon when I called him this afternoon to say she was back home safe.

Although I’m not keen on the ferret’s the thought of her being out there all alone was not nice. It’s good to see Charlie happy again! These animals will be the death of me

Worrying over the critters sure takes it's toll on our lives, doesn't it? I swear, I am going to die 10 years premature due to all the stress my fur and feathered babies have put me through! :barnie :gig

I am very happy to hear Charlie is now at peace with his Gin being home. :)

I know and I’m getting worse as I get older!

You found her!!! :yesss:

Luckily yes! If that neighbour had not spotted her I dread to think. I had to put my girl pants on and pick her up to get her in the cat carrier. Charlie was shocked that I’d managed to pick her up as I’m convinced they are going to bite! But with a cocktail sausage in her mouth it was pretty unlikely
