Never. H*ll, look at The Clan of The Cave Bear. I think Daryl Hannah was in that... they ruined it. That was a great book, I wish they would have finished the series as movies. I'm still waiting on Auel's last book

It's been 7 dang YEARS now... C'mon!

Be happy you aren't reading Robert Jordan's 'Wheel of Time' series. He DIED before he finished. I am so ticked at the man.

Oh man . . . I don't think I could have forgiven Rowling if she had done that. How selfish of him!

Heck...when Stephen King was in the middle of writing his Dark Tower 7 book series, he was hit by a van and almost killed after writing book 4....

Thank God he finished...I really loved those books....

I like the darker tones. When the books came out, most people who picked them up were in middle school, like me. They slowly got darker and darker, maturing as the general audience did, and the same has happened to the movies.

At first they only planned on making one or two movies, thinking that the audiences would grow up, but that's not the case, we've grown up with harry potter!

It's matured along with us, and I love it.
