Harvey is not eating, I can stick his favorite things in his face and he won't eat. He is mostly asleep on his feet and stands over the water with his eyes shut. I think he even drinks with his eyes shut. When I wake him I wants to move away from me, and unless I shove food down his throat he will not eat. He rarely opens his eyes or moves. Maybe if I make a thin mush and put it in another water thingee he'll drink his food? Thanks for caring and your ideas!!If hes not eating you could turn it into a slush using your or slurry like mix thats really watery. Thats how I get my sicks to eat.
Yes I see. After researching I can get Fish Mox here. The store was out but I ordered it and I'm praying it will be in soon. Thanks for caring for Harvey!
If you can get baby parrot handfeeding formula and a 6 or 12 ml syringe you can force feed him a thick slurry fairly safely. It also works with soaked crumbles that you put through a blender. Try scrambled eggs too. My cockrel and hens would eat that when they wouldn't eat anything else.Harvey is not eating, I can stick his favorite things in his face and he won't eat. You have given me something to treat Harvey for, that is the good news. The bad news is that TSC (or anywhere else) has any antibiotics, ever. California (if you don't live here, DON'T Come here) has restricted the use and sale of antibiotics for all livestock. You can only get it with a Rx from a Vet, which I don't have and can't get. I even went to Petco thinking I could get fish tetracycline, but that is included in the new laws and they don't carry that either. Damn! I got some Corid and locked Harvey up in the empty brooder with it in his water, maybe that will help.https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/ahfss/aus/docs/Antimicrobial_Availability_Vet.pdf

There are multiple fish antibiotic sellers out there, too, like:People get antibiotics through gamebird (racing pigeon) providers. I got Fishmox and Cipro through Amazon (am in California).
