cull a whole flock due to disease? I'm faced with this and want to know how u got through it.
 
That's a drastic measure, what disease are you dealing with? You can deal with most cases if you just up the care you give your flock.
 
Coryza isn't that bad, and it's not super contagious (it is definitely contagious, but not airborne or anything like IB). It's easy to treat when caught early, and you can prevent further outbreaks by upping the care you give your flock and vaccinating against it. I would only reccomend culling your entire flock if you show these birds or plan on selling stock, but if they're a backyard flock, I'd hang on to them.
