No cute murals here - GardenNerd's (chicken nightmares) are my favorite! But I did paint the interior walls an icy blue, pieced together some leftover beadboard for one wall and painted it khaki, put up a shelf and jars for quick refills, waterproof stained the community nestbox/shelf/roost and stenciled over the popdoor. I love how it looks and the painted walls are sturdy and easy to wash down. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to clean bare plywood walls. I just use soapy water twice a year and wipe everything down. Couldn't be easier.
