yes , alot of people are getting coops and run's ready for winter.

We are fighting all the rain , and looks like alot more to come from Tropical Storm Fay .

Lots of small reasons, but 2 main reasons:

1) School is back in session

2) Seasonality: In general our busiest time of the year is from Feb - June

Things start to gradually slow down as people get busy with summer, their chicks grow up and require less daily maintenance and information getting. Then school stars and people are busy with that.... then fall and winter hit.

With all that said, we're still a pretty busy place! We see 40 new people sign up every day and 3200 new posts a day (that is 2 posts every minute of every day)!

I posted a question a while ago and nobody answered it until 30 minutes later.
The reason?
There were only 67 people online!
Just like the good ol' days of byc!
