HAS ANYONE ever used this stuff before ?

i have metacam that was for my sick rabbit. worked great. can i give this to my sick hen?
just wondering. i dont want this to go worse on me!

Boy, that would be a tough call-I give Metacam to my doxie to treat the inflammation associated with hydrocephalus(sp)-I think it is pretty strong.
What do you think an NSAID will do to help your bird? What are you treating?
Wish I had an answer for you.

I'd call a vet and ask if it can be used on a chicken. most vets don't treat chickens so they prob won't want you to bring it in ?
