Has anyone had a chicken lay an egg in their lap?

I am a brand new chicken mom, just got my four girls last night. They are about a year old and the man I got them from told me they have been laying awhile. I expected that they might take a break to adjust to their new home, so was thrilled to find three eggs today. I spent some time handfeeding them some grubs from my garden and two of them already got into my lap. Well--that was wonderful enough--so excited to be making friends so fast. When Blanche, a Brahma, hopped down, she lay an egg in my lap! I am stunned! So cool! Has anyone had this happen?

My little bantam Lucy laid one in my lap a couple days ago. I was so shocked when she got up and her tiny egg was sitting in my lap. She is definitely my lap baby.

I had one lay in my hand when was scooting her up the ramp. I didn't think I patted her bum that hard.
