Has anyone here created a new breed that was recognized by the APA?

Well, the title says it all. Has anybody started a new breed or variety and later got it recognized by the APA (American Poultry Association) or the ABA (American Bantam Association), or plans on doing so soon? I'd love to hear about your experiences!

Every time I call the APA, they just hang upon me! They don't want to hear about my mutts I guess!
