Wouldn't you know it, this morning my brown leghorn alerted everyone that she laid an egg. Went to check the box and what she left looked like a partial scrambled egg. There was even some yellowish stuff outside the box on the ledge for the box. She is about 6 months old, has laid a soft shell egg once about a month ago. I put some egg shells in the feed this am. I'm thinkin her next egg will be normal...Sorry no pic. What say you?
