Has anyone noticed slimy egg whites in boiled eggs after feeding their chickens yogurt whey?

I'm afraid I haven't ever feed yogurt whey to my chickens but welcome to BYC!

It shouldn't have any effect in the eggs, what else do you feed?

Having never fed dairy products to my birds, I can not answer your question, but I tend to agree with @nuthatched.

I don't feed whey but I can't imagine that would make any difference unless it was in a huge excess perhaps.

Did you time them? I assume you are sure they were done.
Do you have a photo?
If they look shiney/ glassy it could be due to oviduct infection or a disease such as newcastles.

I make kefir (not yoghurt) and my chickens get a lot of whey. I have never noticed a slimy egg white.

Hi, a picture might be helpful, if you can post one. I've never experienced that issue, but haven't ever fed chickens whey either.
