Has anyone ordered from Meyer Hatchery?

if you look on there website it shows the availabilty of what they have some breeds show that they arent available until march 14th. i ordered yesterday i called them and im getting 25 white leghorn pullets for delivery to my post office march 8-10. they told me what they had for availability for the leghorns and they had march 7th and april 4th . so i chose a march 7th hatch . even though it says there available on there site its best to call because they said they go quick. 3RAGANO i would give them a call to check when they are going to ship .

I ordered 8 pullets (different breeds) from them last year. 2 turned out to be roosters, but they refunded me my money. The Ameraucana pullet we have form them does NOT lay a blue/green egg. Her eggs are cream-colored.

Nevertheless, we still love all our hens. They are beautiful and healthy. We did keep one rooster. I did order again from them and have 10 chicks coming 04/11.

I ordered my 25 "ameraucanas" (really ee's) from meyers last sept. they sent 26, 2 were doa, 1 died the next day, leaving 23. I ordered all pullets and only got one male. Except for the 3 mentioned chicks all were healthy, w/o any beak or foot/leg deformity. I got a great diversity of color and pattern, they are friendly and started laying eggs well before I expected after reading all the posts on here about ee's being 6 months old or more before they started laying, my first one laid starting in mid Jan. and now more then half are laying regularly, so far all eggs are blue or blue/green in color. They were friendly and helpful everytime I called. I would order from them agian w/o hesitation. I'll post some pics of the girls.

Sorry for all the pics, I was trying to show from just recieved through to now and show the variety they sent. All the chickens were from Meyer.

Just one more, I took this one today of the eggs the girls are laying the color is richer then the pic shows, the ones that look brown are actually light olive green, the ones that look more white are pale blue, and most are still pullet eggs since they just started laying.

So beautiful!

My order did come today, on the late truck to the PO!!! Yeah, they are so stinkin cute!!!!!! So different from our own hatch, but that is why we ordered, to get such a variety! All the chicks seem to be okay. They are drinking, but very wobbly. I think b/c of the transport? I'll post a few pics.

I've had a very very bad time with Meyer Hatchery and wont deal with them ever again.

I ordered 8 goslings from them last year (4 tufted buffs, 2 buffs, 2 tufted romans) they sent that same order out about 5 times before I got just 2 that were alive when arrived but one eventually died but the other is still living and doing great. They actually sent 3 toulouse goslings with the last order of goslings and didnt inform me of that and they sent the orders out without emailing or calling and the customer service was plain aweful and I was in a very good mood when I called them and that eventually turned my day bad.
