Has anyone seen and egg like this?!

Has anyone have this happen to you?
It came from my 9 month old RIR yesterday

The true color is the center color. The whitish parts feels sandy/grainy.

Yep, I get these from time to time. No difference in the eats, still a nice taste. You would not believe some of the wierd things that come out of a hens butt. I guess it just depends on what nature has in store for her that day.

I've had them last year, but not often. I separated the suspect hen and then found out she actually only laid once or twice per week, and always a rough shelled egg with a dark spot like yours. I culled her. She was not a pet, and really not worth feeding in a laying flock.
