That second one is great.
It looks like a little pucker with bumps around the opening. So strange.

I mean, you could try lancing one of the bumps and see if there's anything inside?
That little pucker is the navel, the bumps seem to go all around it and then up towards the vent :idunno

It must be some kind of weirdness that happened with the yolk. I wonder if there is anything that can be done about it.
That's my thought to, maybe it never absorbed and is causing the mayhem. I truly would have expected a yolk issue to manifest before 2 weeks, I just don't know :barnie

This is so strange. Is there any way to treat the chick orally with antibiotics? I'm not an expert my any means but I'm thinking there could be an internal infection inlving the lump you mentioned.

Could it be possible that the yolk sac got infected and has now turned necrotic inside or something like that?

That is my fear at this point! I have put antibiotics in the water as well, I was just hoping someone had dealt with this before and could guide me through treating it. I probably also should have put it in the emergency/injuries section but I don't know how to move it now :(

I think an admin can move it. @CarpCharacin

And we should ask the resident experts. They seem to know everything. @Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive @Texas Kiki @casportpony

I've moved it. When a thread needs moving, it's best to report it, so all of the team members are notified, and then whoever is online can move it :)
Good to know. I've always felt like stuff shouldn't be "reported" unless it's bad. Didn't want to get OP in trouble, lol.
