Has anyone seen something like this...Help please

Yes, I thought so too, I wiped it with peroxide and antibiotic ointment, but I am thinking the internal lump is the culprit. I just don't know if there is any way to treat that or what is causing it :he
Is the internal lump offset to the left a little? If so, that's the gizzard and for some reason it's really easy to feel on chicks. If the lump is right in the middle, then it's probably the yolk, but I haven't ever seen one get hard. Not saying it can't, just saying I haven't seen it.

Is the chick still pooping?

Good to know. I've always felt like stuff shouldn't be "reported" unless it's bad. Didn't want to get OP in trouble, lol.
Things don't necessarily need to be bad to report them, it just lets us know that the post needs attention, like you can even report your own posts if you need something changed.

That's my thought to, maybe it never absorbed and is causing the mayhem. I truly would have expected a yolk issue to manifest before 2 weeks, I just don't know :barnie
Yolk issues usually do manifest before two weeks, but I did have one live 40 days with a sac infection.

I felt its tummy and there is a lump, almost like the yolk may have turned hard inside? They are about 2 weeks old

they are like little hard bumps. They are not mites either as I double checked to make sure. I did have to clean the feathers there, it was almost like something was weeping,

starts directly below the vent and is pretty much surrounding where the umbilical was. No it won't wash off, it is almost like tiny tumors?

There were a couple of the white spots that looked to have yellowish crusty stuff stuck on them.
I have not seen that before, even in pictures.
Interesting for sure. Are the white bumps hard too?
If it was just 1 or 2 I would take a guess that it could be impacted feather follicles, but with the pattern around the navel and then they lead to the vent...probably not!

I just don't know, but it's interesting - I will follow along and see what the others think.

I'm honestly not sure at this point (it is still with it's mom), but have checked the vent and everything is as it should be as far as I can tell.

I went back and checked my records and they actually hatched on April 28, so they are even older than I was thinking. I will go check again as far as where the lump is,if it's the gizzard it would be on the left if you are holding it on it's back like I am in the picture?
