Hello there!!

Chilling in the nicu before heading to the bigger brooder.. waiting

on the last few to hatch. Two more fresh ones, four left to go.. not to sure but it is only day 21 so I will let it go a couple more regardless.

Barnyard mix with a BCM roo. Looks like dad's genes are strong!!! They all look like dad!! With a couple variations, I'm sure the difference may come out a bit more when they feather out. Also a possibility for frizzle but I have never had one so I assume I'm waiting for feathering to really notice the difference. Right now they just so fluffy!!! 16 babies 3 unhatched, from 19 into lockdown. But I did have a ton of non starters as I started with 36. But it is early in the year too.

The last three did not hatch... eggtopsy showed two quit before absorbing any yoke and one I missed in the last pull as it was back at day 10.... but I do have 16 very cute fluffs!!! I'll probably be setting up for another hatch on the weekend! Yah....

UPDATE: Growing fast!!! Big mix of faces! Some with fluffy cheeks!! Looks like a couple frizzles too! Interesting to see how some are feathering out way faster!!! They are over two weeks old now and getting ready for the big kid pen.. who doesn't love smelly teenagers! Lol.
