Cool eye! I wonder if chickens can have heterochromia like people do. I don't see why not... That's what it looks like.

My hen's eyes are weird in a different way. Her irises have spots on them:

This is the closest photo I can get of her, she HATES me. The grey hen is the one I'm talking about being a ARAUCANA. Look up: Australian Araucanas.

Pretty! That does look kinda similar to some of my Marans' eyes! I don't have many good pictures of them, either, but here are a couple. Nadine, the Black Copper in the first picture, had these sort of patchy eyes on both sides. The following three birds were all her offspring and each had two-toned eyes as well, though some of them a bit differently than hers. Sadly, Mavis, the girl in the second picture, is the only one I have left out of all of these birds.

Very pretty! She reminds me of one of my Blue Orp babies this year when she was younger. My girl's eyes darkened, though, so you can't see the flecking anymore. Sometimes their baby eyes are so pretty I wish they'd stay like that!

Tomorrow I'll start collecting the eggs!
(Every time I get an egg, it'll go in the fridge, so there will be eggs that have been in there for different periods of time!)
