Tomorrow I'll start collecting the eggs!
(Every time I get an egg, it'll go in the fridge, so there will be eggs that have been in there for different periods of time!)

Will you mark the egg w show long it was in there to see if that makes a difference? This is egg citing!

Make sure to mark each egg with the date it went in the fridge as well, and leg band chicks with colors when they hatch so you know which hatched from which egg.
Maybe when you mark the eggs, mark each with a different color marker (their letter and a date) and you can do a leg band with the same color when they hatch?

I don't believe so, I've seen other member suggest marking eggs under broody's, and in most hatch alongs eggs are marked with either markers, sharpies, or pens. That doesn't mean it wont damage the embryos, but I do see it a lot without much concern.
That could be another interesting experiment though.......
