Is there a ap for hatching eggs or ducks or was that somthing you just set up on phone. I got that new humidkit to add water I have 4 Different readings At least it adds water when Im gone But all the different reading is crazy.Ranging from 50-60 .The humidkit is on 48.9 everything else is around 55-60

I use Hatch A Batch on my cell It is free and I usually wait 12 hours after I put the eggs in to add it the batch to the app
Nope, I don't do any of the Bantams. I like mine big!

I have gotten bantams in the past. I liked some others I was not fond of. Eventually, plan to get Nankins again.

When most people have different day's of hatching, they usually use a 2nd incubator as the one that they do lock-down in, as the humidity is different than the ones that don't go into lock-down yet.

This is the one I use. So if I have ones that are still in need of turning I put them in the top in an auto turner for the lockdown and hatch of the others

I also have this one as a JIC I get more eggs than I can hatch

The one thing I did learn about this one versus the single layer ones is that the bottom does better insulated. So I have that part sitting in styrofoam. I also use cotton washcloths in the bottom layer to hold the humidity up. I just either rewet or switch them out as I have a ton of the washcloths since I knit them

I have mine in a Little Giant 9200 still air styrofoam one, and have the egg turner to go in it. I have done many hatches with it.

I have had little giants and a few others. Husband is telling everybody because I did not flinch at his purchase of a 2019 Peterbilt that he is getting me this one

Your hubby must be a truck driver if he needed a Peterbilt! Maybe he can pick you up some of those White Breese in Florida from the place I gave you that link to, so that you can add them to your new incubator cabinet that he's getting for you? You can save on the shipping cost!:gig

104 more of this "collection" set on the 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th.
Teenage pullets at bottom of photos
Some thoughts on these pullets? Splash or no Splash....
Snapped this just before cleaning...should snaped the pic have after...
If you can, enlarge the pic, look at red pullets on the far left. The variegated red feathers - genetic beginning of splashing? Possible splash ...

The Ameraucauna parents of these chicks are from verious colors of hens with a red roo, a white roo, & blue roo, nonsegregated. None of the parents, at least to my eyes, exhibit any "Splash" patterns.
