Hatch A Long with PenguinsCrafts

She isn’t really photogenic. (I am calling it a she cause I need a female) I named her Sapphire

I ordered some hatching eggs to arrive next week. I plan to let them sit for 24 to 48 hours before putting them in the incubator. Nothing super special, just a barnyard mix to test my incubators out.
The plan is to order more eggs at the end of the month to arrive in time to set them either right at lockdown or right after the hatch.

Yes, I am a hatching addict. Anybody else planning to set eggs next week? Anybody want to keep me company and keep me off eBay? lol

Yes Im setting on Sat ,could be Fri I have some hatching Tues Wen and well have to collect eggs and do a clean out This will be my 2 hatch this week Hopefully it goes well I have pekins and a pr of call ducks Have you ever set them toghther??? There to much info out there it blows my mined. I'm hopping this gets to you Im not cumputer savy .When you post somthing it ask who your sending it to ,Who do we list I dont know anyone???

I have never hatched call ducks. NOt a breed I have ever been interested in having. I have set Pekins.

so what are you going to set??? Im going only 6 call eggs and about 25 pekins. Any info on the ducks I been reading and that gets to be everyone has their own thing. I read a doc of poultry report science and it says like 80 % then 90% at lock down ,nothing about cooling and misting??? Ant ideas For this first timer of ducks ???I have chicken and quail for Tues/Wen fingers crossed for my 2 hatch Calls duck are so sweet but sooooo very loud
