Sorry, I can't help you with that as I only do chickens and not ducks.

Ooh, what kind of rabbits? I just got into Rex this past fall and am having a total blast with all of the pretty coats!

New Zealand Blacks. I got out of the two what appears to be an opal/blue and a REW. Not that it really matters, but now I want to breed the buck to the two other does and see what I get from them. One is a Borken Black mixed breed and the other a Blue Beveren. Babies will be for meat and furs.

For two days you can go into an early lockdown with the pekins. Or just try to turn twice a day with the pekins until the calls have all hatched.

One chick out of its shell this morning! Wobbling around and chirping happily- most of my remaining eggs have pipped, I’m excited to see what has happened by the time I get home this evening!

Calls go into lock down on Sunday,I also have pekins .Do I just keep turning the pekins since its not time for they for lock down I only have one incubator ??? Ive read not to raise humidity until the call ext pip Any ideas?? This first time for ducks and only #3 for anything else

Do you have a way of turning the Pekins only without disturbing the calls in lockdown? Humidity should be 80% for ducks during lockdown I believe gradually diminishing to 70% - this link has good info https://ahdc.vet.cornell.edu/sects/duck/hatching.cfm
- but I haven’t hatched ducks in an incubator before! Good luck! Hatching two sets at once with different hatch dates seems a tricky business.

This might be a help for hatching

Other eggs have no movement in them. At least I got two.

I have 12 Black Jersey Giant eggs, 12 Silkie eggs, and 10 Blue/Splash Jersey Giant eggs coming next week. Plus I have about 6 other auctions I have bid on

How are your hatches going?

4 chicks total. 3 pips, malpositioned chick has been going at it 30 hours so far, not zipped yet

Good.

I candled the turkey and duck eggs earlier tonight. Looks like I have 8 ducks forming well and 5 turkey eggs. 2 turkey eggs look to be duds.
