I have 2 clearly pipped eggs. I can hear chirping

I love Jersey Giants!!! The rooster got a wee bit of an attitude, but I broke him of it and now he's my bucket buddy. He follows me everywhere and is snoopy about what's in my buckets

My Favorite Breeds that I have raised so far are: Jersey Giants, Salmon Faverolles, and Dorkings
I just got a Rare Breed Special from McMurray and got some Brahmas in the mix. Brahmas have been on my want to try list.

We've got a zipper!! Can't tell the baby color yet, it's a dark brown egg!

Sorry to be spamming the thread, but the first chick has hatched!! It appears to be brown, it's a little wet yet to tell. It's also HUGE!! It's really knocking my other eggs around so I hope they hatch quicker so I can get it out.

Once the first is out and about they usually get the rest out fast. It is the first one that takes FOREVER....lol

So a little black one hatched.. it has extra toes??? None of my chickens this egg came from have extra toes. I'm a bit weirded out I must say haha! They're so fun to watch hatch

It could be a throw back to something that had been bred into one of the chicks parents lineage.

No way! I’m excited for you-! My eggs aren’t due to start hatching until tomorrow night, so it’s exciting to live vicariously through your hatching! Show us pictures if you can!
