Hatch along! Come pick an egg

Pics
I have this all written down somewhere but - Do you guys remember the temperature and humidity for the lockdown days??
Thanks!
Are you transferring the eggs to a hatcher type brooder for hatching? If so, same temp as the incubation cycle, humidity up around 65%. If there are vents on the hatcher, make sure they are wide open.

If you are talking about a chick brooder after hatch, I usually start them at 88 degrees measured on the floor beneath the heat source, heat off to one side, food and water on the cool side so they have a place to cool off.

I'm using this incubator:

The trays just come out and you lay the eggs in like a second row. The fan and stuff is underneath of it. The turners are sitting above that floor. Do you understand what I mean??😊
It is a very confusing thing - but it works! On time I only had 1 chick not hatch and it died well trying to pip!!

Dying while pipping is either the lack of oxygen or humidity wasn't correct. I like to put a small humidity/thermometer inside the machine to compare with the incubators gauges, the machine can come out of calibration easily. There should be some steam on the window at hatch time, this usually means the humidity is up enough. If there are vents you can open or close on this machine, open them fully. Some machines have vents that stay open continuously.
