Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

Mmm, it's now barely past 24 hours since Hope pipped, and I was wondering if I should help more... Just remember that if I had not have made that hole in the egg, it would still be just a tiny pip hole/crack. I think I should, but I don't know for sure. I want some advice as to what I should do. Aren't they s'posed to be full of peeps when they are hatching?

if you are on day 23, i would be peeling back the shell.

I had one that pipped but did not do anything for 24 hrs. i assisted. he came out very wet but no issues. took an extra time to get moving but now i could not pick him out of the crowd.

3D start from the hole you made down but beware, if you see wet blood you should stop! and let in back in the bator....

Katsdar_ No kidding They even wait for us to walk away for 10 min so they can hurry up and make a buch of progress for when we get back they can fall back asleep. I call my chicks nija chicks .. stealth mode.

Oz- Thats a great hatch rate! Hope I can be half as lucky, I originaly set 22 eggs, 16 made it to lockdown.

My Update: 5 chicks a hatching... 3 peepers peeping ..2ooo rocking eggs

We did end up losing power last night at midnight but luckly hadn't quite fallen asleep. We got the generator up and running 40min later and the temp only dropped about 9 degrees. We just got power back too so not too bad. More pics to come

Okay, I picked the shell from the top of the egg, and I saw no blood whatsoever! D She is so weak, and is barely cheeping. I am going to leave her for now, and hopefully she is strong enough to do the rest! I'm going to keep checking to see if she is doing okay.

3D good job, yeah if they hatch on their own they still are so weak, they sleep on that bator floor on their belly, so I think yours is normal too, good that there was no blood.

We are all feeling you pain 3D. Tell that crazy bird to hurry up and hatch already.

My 16th was exiting its shell as I left for work. I have two more who are pipped so here is hoping.

Last night was tough. I will not hatch in my bedroom again - lol. Noisy little buggers. But oh the fun. My kids got to see a hatching egg on Skype all the way from the Philippines.
