Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

Turns out there was a bit of blood, but not a lot. It isn't flowing, and the little peeper is so weak! Barely peeping at at all.

It's not that bad, and I still have hope in Hope.

I am feeling so worried. I don't want Hope to die. I will have no hope then.

lol. I am moistening the membrane around Hope with warm water every now and then and hoping it softens it up enough for her to hatch!

Everything is looking good!!! Pictures in a minute. I peeled off a bit more membrane and she peeped away and there is no more blood as far as I can see. I will wait for Hope to absorb the yolk or do what she needs to do.

What would happen if you pulled the membrane back if it doesn't have any veins? See this is all new to me, as these eggs set are my first and when my broody was motherly in the summer I gave her 5 eggs, but I didn't know that she needed all the eggs at once. So it would be like one for you, then 2 for me anyway I ended up with a roo and a hen.

Candyman what to do?

The less veins, the more ready the chick is to hatch. Never assist the chick until you need to. My chick was very weak and I think was stuck, so I helped a bit... anyway, I have recent pictures! He/she is yellow. I introduce to you- HOPE!

Hope's eye is covered, but I saw it for a second. It was very bright in there! Especially if this is the first time you've ever seen light!
