Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

We set 35 eggs in our incubator on the 23rd of Nov. and I have 10 under our broody that is due on the first of Dec.

Thanks sooooo much, Chicknlove!!! :D That picture is just so cute I think I just might explode! XD No matter where I looked, it only said that to make a red sex link, you needed the male to be a rhode island red, and the female a white leghorn. I couldn't find any pictures of a chicken (or chick) the other way around, so thanks a lot! I didn't think they would look any different...And I totally agree Katsdar! I am so excited! I am going to flip the eggs right now :3
Interesting to me too. I have a mix of eggs all RIR and BL Australorp roos crossed w/ white rock, RIR, and Red Sex link hens.. I just can't wait to see them

****, I just read that candling eggs that early can damage the delicate network begining to form and can actually kill the embryos.

I just candled mine juuust to see cause I'm so impatient. Mine are brown too. MAN I hope I didn't kill my babies.

exactly!!! In my last night candling session (day 7), I saw the babies moving, they were running, playing seesaw, and merry-go-round

but I just candled the ones beneath my hen, set same day, and those looked a lot different

maybe temperature difference?? Now I am stressed

Candyman,
Don't stress yet, maybe with it being cold and under the hen the temp difference seems the likely cause, how are the eggs different? My guess eggs being developed in an artificial environment will develop at different rates, just my guess, so if you see positive development, veins and running around all should be fine.

you have the temp and humidity being controlled.
